Best Kiss?? Hell Yeah!!!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's kiss in Twilight has been voted one of the best kisses of the last decade.

The tender moment, which occurred in the first film in the vampire saga, came fourth in the survey.

Madonna and Britney Spears' infamous lesbian kiss at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2003 topped the poll conducted by department store Selfridges.

A source described the kiss as “one of the most memorable moments ever”.

"Madonna performing with both Britney and Christina was a big enough event in itself, but nobody - even the MTV people - expected what happened,” they added.

Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst were second for their romantic embrace in Spider-Man, while Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal's kiss in Brokeback Mountain came fourth.

The top-five was completed by Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz for their kiss in Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

The survey was conducted by Selfridges ahead of the opening of its kissing booth at its flagship store in London next month.

E! News About Rob

Rob As A Comic Book????

Millions know English actor Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, the vampire
with a conscience in the films Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the
fantasy/romance movies based on Stephenie Meyer’s famous book series.

But there’s more to Pattinson than fake fangs, faraway looks and tousled
hair. Pattinson is an accomplished musician, a former model and an actor who’s
played both a wizard at Harry Potter’s Hogwarts School and the artist
Salvador Dali.

Bluewater Productions in May will ship FAME: Robert Pattinson to comic book
shops and retailers across the country. This 32-page comic will trace
Pattinson’s career from his first performance in Tess of the D’Urbervilles at
London’s Barnes Theatre to his star turn in the Twilight movies.

Writer Kim Sherman said that she is eager to introduce fans to the many
sides of Pattinson.

“I love having the ability to introduce high-profile people to readers
through an unexpected medium that is both written and visual,” Sherman said. “
These biography comics are designed to illustrate interesting tidbits to fans
about their favorite figureheads, and inspire them to learn more. I chose
to conceptualize A-lister Robert Pattinson from a unique perspective,
immersing the reader into the life of the talented actor beyond his most famous
role.”

Count interior artist Nathaniel Ooten as one reader who’s gained a new
appreciation for Pattinson’s career since reading Sherman’s script.

“Working on this book has opened an entirely new level of Rob Pattinson for
me,” Ooten said. “Before starting, I was only aware of the ‘teenage
vampire’ Pattinson. After reading the script, studying the subject and listening
to his music, I not only became very interested in Pattinson’s future work,
but also discovered a new appreciation for this ‘teenage vampire.’”

Bluewater president Darren G. Davis said that he expects Pattinson’s
biography to be as popular among Twilight fans as was the comic biography of
writer Meyer, which Bluewater published in November of 2009. That particular
biography has sold out of several printings.

“Twilight fans want to know everything about the talented people who have
brought them the story of Edward and Bella,” Davis said. “I’m pleased to be
able to bring them Robert Pattinson’s story. It’s our hope that even the
most devoted fans will discover a fact or two that takes them completely by
surprise.”

FAME: Robert Pattinson is part of Bluewater’s much-publicized, and popular,
line of biographical comics. The FAME series will also include comic
biographies of Lady GaGa, 50 Cent, Tiger Woods and David Beckham. Bluewater
Productions also publishes biographies of influential political figures such as Al
Gore, Sarah Palin and Michelle Obama. Many of these comics, too, have sold
out several printings.

Been Awhile

Ok, I've been a bad RPattz fan. I haven't been posting that much as of late. There has been a few things that have occurred. Last Friday, Jan 22/10, Rob took part in the Hope For Haiti Now telethon, put together by George Clooney. I watched this program, not just for Rob, but to see the devastation of what happened, as I don't have cable. I had a feeling that Twitter lit up when Rob came on for his 1 minute speech. Here it is, a few days later, but you can still donate.

Also, Rob is yet again on another Best Dressed list. Dolce & Gabanna
revealed in GQ that Robert Pattinson is “Extremely elegant and inspiring, the true essence of a contemporary man.” No wonder he was recently voted GQ’s best dressed British male this year.

Twilight Graphic Novel Is Coming!!

I’m delighted to announce, exclusively, that Yen Press will publish Twilight: The Graphic Novel, Vol. 1 on March 16, with a first printing of 350,000 copies. Here’s a first glimpse at the book’s cover, as well as an exclusive peek at one of its panels (for a full ten-page excerpt, and the entire Q&A with Stephenie Meyer, see the issue of EW that goes on sale this Friday).

What strikes me, looking at the book, is how faithfully, and how beautifully, artist Young Kim has translated Meyer’s original vision. Kim, who has a fine arts background—in fact, this is her first foray into graphic novels—didn’t just read the book; she absorbed it. Her Bella is the Bella I had in my mind’s eye the first time I read Twilight; her Edward is the Edward I always imagined. It took me back to reading Twilight pre-movie: Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson faded into the background.

Meyer talked to us about all this, and more. Here are a few snippets from our conversation:

The text of your original novel is boiled down so carefully that it doesn’t feel like anything is missing. Were you the one who did that?

I was definitely involved. I didn’t do the original “script” for the book, so to speak. But when I got the dialogue with the images, I did a lot of tinkering. In a couple of places, I asked for missing scenes to be inserted. For example, the conversation in the car that Bella and Edward have after she faints in Biology.

How does the feeling of reading the graphic novel compare to that of reading the original? Does it bring something new to the experience for you?

For me, it takes me back to the days when I was writing Twilight. It’s been a while since I was really able to read Twilight; there is so much baggage attached to that book for me now. It seems like all I can see are the mistakes in the writing. Reading Young’s version brought me back to the feeling I had when I was writing and it was just me and the characters again. I love that. I thank her for it.

When this project is done, are you done with Twilight?

I can’t say that I am done with Twilight forever. I’m not working on anything new Twilight-related now, and probably not for a while. But there’s still a possibility that I’ll go back and close some of the open doors.

The Drought Continues

Hey, all!! I know the postings are a little skimpy, ATM, but things are a little quiet on the Rob-front. As you all know, I don't like using tabloid gossip on here & that's what's been circulating around, esp. after New Year's a couple of weeks ago when Rob & KStew were photgraphed on the Isle of Wight together. There are lots of other blogs/sites that do cater to that.

I'm sitting patiently waiting for info about "Remember Me" to start quenching this drought. I can tell you it will be released here in North America on March 12th. There is still talk about making the 4th book in the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. As for what I've seen on that topic, the tabloids are running with the 3 main characters asking for a lot more money & that's what's stalling production. Again, that is what's out there & I don't think that's credible.

Anyway, here's a nice piccie of Rob to keep you going. Enjoy!!

Fan-made video

A nice little way to ring in the New Year. Adam Lambert's song "Fever". Enjoy!!

There is A Drought Going On

I know I haven't been posting in a long time. The holidays kinda took over and the drought started, in terms of anything new on Robert or Twilight. That should soon end when the onslaught of "Remember Me" stuff comes out. I have been looking over at other blogs and see that they are re-posting old interviews, videos, etc. Others, still do scans from mags from all over. I don't do anything that supports the paparazzi, in terms of posting stuff from tabloids, gossip sites and the like. I have found a few interesting videos. I'll post them for you:
